Eric J. DiamondChief Operating OfficerEric joined Decron Properties in January 2012, assuming the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer. At Decron, Eric’s responsibilities include direct oversight of the Commercial and Residential Property Divisions. Eric began his career as a real estate professional by joining Barclay's Realty and Management Company as Executive Vice President and General Counsel. While with Barclay's, Eric oversaw the 50% growth of its real estate portfolio. Eric ultimately led Barclay's sale of its $500 million shopping center portfolio to BlackRock Realty Advisors and Weingarten Realty Investors. Eric also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Seven Forty Management, a private management company for an ultra-high net worth Los Angeles family. While with Seven Forty Management, Eric directed the restructuring of the family's real estate portfolio as well as a number of large multi-generational estate planning projects. Prior to his career in real estate, Eric practiced law with a number of Los Angeles based firms. His principal focus was on real estate and litigation matters. He is a member of the California State Bar. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal and the federal district courts throughout California. Eric is a graduate of the University of Virginia (B.A. Economics) as well as the UCLA School of Law. He currently serves as President of Sinai Temple and he is also a member of the Cemetery Management Committee for Mt. Sinai Mortuary and Memorial Parks. Eric chairs the Mt. Sinai Budget Subcommittee. Eric previously served as member of the Board of Directors of Vista Del Mar Child & Family Services (Los Angeles) and the Alpha Epsilon Phi Foundation (Indianapolis, Indiana). Eric is married; he and his wife have two sons. |
