David J. Nagel

Decron Properties Corp. is managed by David J. Nagel as President. Mr. Nagel completed his undergraduate degree at NYU Stern School of Business and received a Masters Degree in Real Estate Finance from the USC Marshall School of Business.

Mr. Nagel has been involved in the Real Estate investment, development, and management business since 1981. He became President of Decron Properties Corp. in 1988. His involvement in the business involves all aspects of development, construction, and management given his financial background and the fact that he is a licensed general building contractor with the State of California.

Mr. Nagel’s activities within the firm include both ground-up and value added developments. His involvement spans both ends of the business including general contracting services as the project is being created, as well as its management once it is completed and leased up.

As President of the Company, Mr. Nagel has led the firm in acquiring and developing all types of Real Estate including single-family housing, multi-family housing, anchored and non-anchored retail shopping centers, office buildings, mixed-use development, and marinas.

Mr. Nagel is a member of many various Real Estate Trade Associations including Apartment Owner’s Association (AOA), The Building Owner’s Management Association (BOMA), and The International Counsel of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

His leadership has increased the portfolio of the Company from less than ten buildings and $100 million in valuation to its current portfolio size of fifty buildings and approximately $1.5 billion in real estate value.

As an active developer in various communities, David Nagel plays an active philanthropic role in giving much of his time to community organizations and events. This community involvement has encouraged Decron Properties to contribute excess land in one of its shopping centers to the city of Los Angeles which is now the Los Angeles Police Department San Fernando Valley Traffic Headquarters and has further encouraged the company to provide charitable donations to many of its communities in which it is currently developing including Westchester, Playa del Rey, and Van Nuys.

Currently, David Nagel serves as President and Chairman of the Board of Yeshiva University High School of Los Angeles, a school of over 400 hundred students, and previously served as Chairman of the Board of Young Israel Century City.

David Nagel is married with three children and currently resides in Los Angeles.
